Fee Management - Fee Assignment Tab
Fees > Fee Management > Fee Assignment
From this tab, users can assign fees to students and see who the fee is assigned to. There is also an option for users to accept cash and checks from parents in person. This tab is only necessary if the fee needs to be assigned to a student or group of students. Fee visibility on the General tab determines who sees the fee in LINQ Connect.
Assigning Students

(+) Add Student: Click this link to assign this fee to students.

Search: Search for a particular student.

Building: Filter students by building.

Grade: Filter students by grade.

Exclude Assigned: Check to exclude students already assigned.

Checkbox: Check the boxes next to the student(s) this fee should be assigned to.

Assign: Click this button to assign the fee.
Unassigning Students

Search and Filter: Use the Advanced Filters and Search field to find student(s) in the grid.

Checkbox: Check the boxes next to the student(s) this fee should not be assigned to.

Actions: Click this button to view the actions.

Unassign Student: Select "Unassign Student" to unassign.
Accepting Payments

Search and Filter: Use the Advanced Filters and Search field to find student(s) in the grid.

Checkbox: Check the boxes next to the appropriate student(s).

Actions: Click this button to view the actions.

Accept Payment: Select "Accept Payment."

Payment Type: Check Cash or Check.

Amount & Payor Name: Enter the amount and payor name. For checks, enter the check number.

Confirm: Click this button to accept the payment.

Print Receipt: Click to print a receipt for the payor.

Close: Click this button to close the message.

Bell: Click the notification icon to download the receipt.
